The Jujo’s rocked Alberta’s Last Thursday event. Charlotte was a hit being the littlest girl to get in to the double dutch. Thank you to all who came out and participated. That is why we are there. The Jumpin’ Jackie O’s are not about being cool. We are not about showboating or trying to be a performance group for art or social change or any such business. We are about promoting smiles and getting the public involved in jump rope. I guess you can call us jump rope enthusiast. We are introvert excavators. We give confidence and a sense of wonderment and love to the public. The Jujo’s were formed just for the fun of it and I encourage you all to join us or start your own jump rope club and get out there. Get active. Get healthy and get involved in your local community.
Portland has been the perfect breeding ground for our batch of tomfoolery. I encourage the rest of you to find something that brings you joy and the smile a child smiles on Christmas morning that double dutch brings to us old ladies.
So get out and jump or get out there and be a fool. You will fit right in with all the rest of us.
Peace and love,
the Jujo’s
PS practice Tuesdays 6:30-7:30 PM Beech and Borthwick. Next performance July 19th at Sunday Parkways Alberta Park 11-2
